Volunteer Work to Support Women and Children

PHOEBE relies heavily on a dedicated team of volunteers who donate their time and energy to help us deliver the crucial programmes and services which support the women and children around Suffolk. Our volunteers are absolutely vital to us carrying out our support services, whether we're offering domestic violence counselling or organising activities for our youth group.

Our current volunteer opportunities include :

  • Board members - we need two trustees

  • Project workers - we have opened PHOEBE Zimbabwe and need teams of volunteers to go to Zimbabwe to help set up the Women's Ruponeso College for women struggling with psychological problems.

  • We always need people to help us fundraise

  • Youth workers

Each of us has different skills and talents and our diverse range of charity volunteer work enables you to find the placement most appropriate to your interests. Whether you're great with figures and financial details, experienced in management and administration or passionate about working directly with children, we're confident that you'll love volunteering for PHOEBE!
